Play in the desktop app
Download the desktop app for Mac or Windows and play the game in its own window.
- Mac and Windows
- Experimental
- Same account as the website
- Internet required
Its own window
The desktop app opens the game in its own window, without browser tabs or an address bar. You sign in with the same account, so your games, decks and rewards are all there.
- It remembers its window size and position, and whether you left it in full screen.
- On a Mac, voice chat asks for microphone access the first time you use it.
The desktop app is experimental and may not work reliably yet. If something goes wrong, the website still works.
Download
Install on Mac
- Open the downloaded file and drag the app into your Applications folder.
- Open the app from Applications. macOS asks once whether to open an app downloaded from the internet. Choose Open.
Install on Windows
- If your browser warns that the file isn't commonly downloaded, choose Keep. In Edge, open the ··· menu next to the download to find it.
- Open the installer. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, choose More info, then Run anyway.
- The game installs in a few seconds and opens by itself. Find it later in the Start menu.
Work and school PCs often block apps from an unknown publisher completely. If Run anyway is missing or does nothing, install the app on a personal computer.
Why the warnings?
The Mac app is signed and checked by Apple. The Windows app isn't signed with a paid Microsoft certificate yet, so Windows can't confirm who made it. Both only open this website in their own window, and your games and account stay on the server.
Signing in
Google and Discord sign-in open your browser once, then bring you back to the app. Username sign-in works right in the app.
Updates
Game updates arrive by themselves, because the app loads the game from the website. When a new version of the app itself is out, a notice tells you and links back to this guide.
Uninstall
On a Mac, drag the app from Applications to the Bin. On Windows, open Settings, then Apps, then Installed apps, and choose Uninstall.
